The Australian College of Private Consulting Psychologists has represented privately practising psychologists in New South Wales since 1981.

The ACPCP is the peak body of private practitioners in NSW and is a member of the national umbrella body, Psychology Private Australia (PPA).

Psychology Private Australia represents state organisations of Privately Practising Psychologists in Australia.
