Current Projects

ACPCP current projects include the following:

1. Maintaining a Schedule of Health Related Services and Items
2. Negotiating Psycho-legal Schedule and Recommendations
3. Continuing Professional Education Programme
4. Extending the agreed Best Practice Guidelines
5. Liaison with government and private industry bodies:
   • Workcover New South Wales
   • Medibank Private
   • Private Health Insurance Funds
   • Department of Human Services
   • Motor Accident Commission/Allianz (third party Motor Accident claims)
6. Federal liaison and lobbying on issues such as Medicare, Rural Health, Competency.
7. 7^th National Conference of Psychology Private to be held in Canberra ACT in 2008 in conjunction with ACPCP ACT.
