If you consult a psychologist you may be eligible for insurance rebate under :

Private Health Insurance Table – see your private health fund for current list of rebates
Compensation Table – Workers Compensation
WorkCover,
Comcare,
Motor Accident Commission- Compulsory Third Party Insurance,
Victims of Crime and other schemes
Medicare "Better Assess to Mental Health Services"
Employer support schemes.

Rebate varies between different insurance companies/agencies.

The Institute publishes a reference fee guidelines for members. Psychology fees are time based.
Current reference fee for one hour $186 per hour.
Each member of the ACPCP sets their own fee, based on actual costs of their own practice. Each practitioner will discuss the fees with you prior to the consultation.
